About the area

One of the fastest growing cities in the UK, Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city with a population of over 600,000 – and growing! Glasgow is a dynamic city full of culture and history with a wide range of attractions and a warm, friendly feel to the city. With a long history and wonderful scenery, Glasgow is situated in the southwest corner of Scotland close to the sea with access to beautiful nature just a short drive away. With a young average age, there is a vibrancy and life to the city making it a popular city for both people wanting to live there but also those wanting to visit for the weekend for a holiday. Having undergone extensive regeneration over the decades, development does not seem to be slowing down. Recent work done around the waterfront of the Clyde River has revitalised the core of this great city and there are more projects underway. With great universities and a low unemployment, it is no wonder Glasgow is a fantastic place to call home.

Why are we investing in the Glasgow region?

When we look at a city, we don’t just consider if it is a lovely place to live, we think carefully about the potential. With Glasgow the opportunity for investment is clear including a number of social housing opportunities and relatively low property and rent prices when compared to many other parts of the UK. Yes, it’s true Scotland does come with its unique laws and rules, but we understand the system and see this as a positive and an untapped opportunity. With major developments underway to revitalise Glasgow, we know this is a city which will go from strength to strength and will continue to be popular place to live for years to come meaning our investments will continue to grow in value.
