Starting from humble beginnings as a small startup comprised of dedicated founders in July of 2020, 2023 will undoubtedly be remembered as a pivotal year in the history of Pillar-X. This past year, we have witnessed immense transformations within our organisation, the wider industry, and the world at large.

Here, we present to you our achievements this past year and our vision for an even brighter future.

Properties Acquired in 2023

In 2023 we acquired a further two properties to our portfolio, reaching a total of 29 which comprise a mix of apartments and houses, all located and spread out in our different investment areas. Our internal and external power teams worked tirelessly to ensure that each property met our high standards and underwent necessary updates, some with major refurbishments.

One property that stands out with success for 2023 is, Brighton Street, which was successfully renovated thanks to the hard work of our team and in the winter of 2023, we ventured into the realm of serviced accommodation with one of our Brighton Street properties.  The transformation was a significant project for us, but the end result was more than worth it.

Growing Our Team

As the saying goes, “teamwork makes the dream work,” and it has to be a WIN WIN WIN for ALL. At Pillar-X, we take this adage to heart. Our team is at the very core of our success, and we are proud to have a group of individuals who are dedicated to each other and our company’s growth.

At Pillar-X, our team consists of four dedicated individuals, including our two founders. Each member brings a unique skill set that is essential to our company’s operations. Our founders are responsible for crafting our vision and navigating the business landscape.

Growth on LinkedIn and Instagram

In 2023, Pillar-X’s online presence reached new heights. The company’s LinkedIn following grew from 1,285 to 1,368, while its Instagram followers almost doubled from 500 to 976. We shared our journey through 78 posts on LinkedIn and a total of 309 posts on Instagram to engage with their audience.

One of the significant moments in Pillar-X’s social media journey was when a reel on Instagram reached an audience of 2,356. This post significantly impacted Pillar-X’s online presence as it increased its reach and helped attract new followers.

Community Engagement

The Pillar-X team had 58 internal meetings throughout the year, where team members shared ideas, discussed new product launches, and brainstormed ways to improve our services. However, our external meetings truly made an impact on our business. We held a staggering 624 meetings with clients, suppliers, investors, and potential business contacts.

Our community engagement efforts extended beyond meetings. We produced 12 blog posts and also engaged in our first-ever podcast with Tom Hoskin, which featured Daniel, Louise, and Thomas guests who shared insights on the formation of Pillar-X and how it all began. the latest trends in the market.

Educational and Training Endeavours

We’ve accumulated 72 hours of training, including NRLA Accreditation, Prosperity Network, and the Investable Masterclass training. These sessions covered different topics, such as property management, real estate law, financial planning, and technology trends.

Aside from the knowledge gained, these sessions have also helped our team members connect with industry experts and peers. Networking opportunities are especially valuable in the real estate industry, where partnerships and collaborations can open new doors.

Plans and Goals for 2024

At Pillar-X, we have big plans for the year 2024 and are actively working towards making them a reality.

  • Innovation and Research: We plan to continue investing in this area to stay on the cutting edge of our field.

  • Environmental Responsibility: We plan to invest in eco-friendly technologies and practises that will reduce our carbon footprint.
